Mrs. Loraine Koon McGinn, formerly of Dockwood Trail in Portsmouth, VA, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018 in Concord, NC.
Her funeral service will be 1 PM Saturday, December 8th at the Mausoleum Chapel of Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Chesapeake, VA. The family will visit with friends following the service.
Loraine was born March 21, 1935 in Norfolk County to the late John Brooks Koon and Ida Mae Chapman Koon. She was also preceded in death by her husband Jack McGinn, and sisters Alva Bowers, Bettie Allen, and Dorothy Roberson. Loraine was employed with the Norfolk Naval Ship Yard for over 30 years and spent her life in the Tidewater area.
Loraine is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
