Obituary for Charles Eugene Justis Jr.
Mr. Charles Eugene Justis, Jr. of Concord, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 24, 2020 at his home.
A memorial service will be 3 PM Saturday (10/3/2020) at Wilkinson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
Charles was born March 23, 1937 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Charles E. Justis Sr. and Mable Brewster Justis. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Justis. Charles graduated from Temple University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and was employed with Catalytic Inc., Celanese Inc. and Paragon Engineering. He continued to do contract work from home up until a year ago. He was a member of Jackson Park Lions Club, enjoyed hunting and fishing, quilting and was learning to play guitar on his own.
Charles is survived by daughters Cathy Howell and Dr. Sandra Sparks and husband David, all of Concord; Charlene Justis of Harrisburg granddaughter Alicia Scott and husband Stephen of Midland; Dale Snead significant other of Concord and other extended family members.
Memorials may be made to NC Lions Club.
