Obituary for Darrell Franklin Black
Darrell Franklin Black of Concord passed away unexpectantly Monday, December 21, 2020.
A memorial service will be 11 am Wednesday at Parkwood Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Michael Waters. The family will greet friends following the service.
Darrell was born February 17, 1966 in Concord to Jean Pigg Black and the late Charles Franklin Black. He graduated from Central Cabarrus High School in 1984 and later was employed by Whitley Monahand Handle Co.
Darrell is survived by his mother, Jean P. Black; sister Sharon Fortenberry and husband Kenneth;nephew, Eric Fortenberry; son Lucas Black; girlfriend Heather Altman; and a number of extended family members.
