To family and loved ones,
My Dad Mike Safrit who passed 2 years ago, worked with Mr. Poole for years at AL Brown. If memory serves me correctly his room was across the hall from dads. I remember meeting David a few times when I was growing up. Dad always thought highly of him and I know they are both having a ball in heaven together again. My deepest sympathy goes out to you for your loss. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
May God bless you and give you strength during the days to follow.
Love, the Safrit family

Mr. Poole was my American History teacher at A. L. Brown in 1972/1973. He was an enthusiastic educator and his love for history was evident. I remember a quote that he included, in one of the Albrokans, during that time: "Those who ignore history are bound to repeat it". In recent times, I have pondered that quote and its relevance in the world today, some 40+ years later. Godspeed, Mr. Poole.
