Mr. Dean Wayne Burris, 59 of Mt Pleasant passed away on Wednesday November 30, 2022.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 to 7pm at Wilkinson Funeral Home, a memorial service will follow at 7pm in the Chapel of Wilkinson Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Wallace officiating.
Mr. Burris was born on April 23, 1963 in Stanly County to Eddie Wayne Burris and Judy Ann Huneycutt Burris, along with his parents Dean is survived by his wife, Shirley Barbee Burris, Brother, Eddie Dale Burris, and step Mother Rebecca “Becky” Burris. Mr. Burris was preceded in death by his brother Darin Joe Burris..
Dean worked for the City of Charlotte as an HVAC Tech. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, had a joy for camping and lending a helping hand to others. Dean never met a stranger. He will be remembered as a loving husband, son, and friend.
