Obituary for Dorothy Dean Campbell (Ritchie)
Mrs. Dorothy “Dot” Ritchie Campbell, age 86, passed away Friday, March 19, 2021 at Five Oaks Manor where she resided for the last several years.
A private graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery will be held later this week with Dr. Rodney Quesenberry officiating.
Dot was born November 15, 1934 in Concord to the late William Haywood Ritchie and Ruth Kirby Ritchie. She was also preceded in death by husbands Wade Little, Sr. and Kenward Campbell, son Bill Little, stepson Donnie Campbell, and one brother and two sisters. Although Dorothy held various jobs, her heart was in her home with her family.
Dot is survived by daughters Becky Blackwell (Talmadge) and Beverly Hinson (Darrell), sons Wade Little, Jr. and Scott Campbell, stepson Ronnie Campbell (Pat) seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Ln., Kannapolis, NC 28081.
