Obituary for Eunice Simpson
Ms. Eunice Ivey Simpson, age 90 of Concord, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Tucker Hospice House.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 26 at Wilkinson Funeral Home from 11 am to 12:30 pm. A graveside service will follow at Carolina Memorial Park at 1 pm with Rev. Bob Harvey officiating.
Eunice was born December 19, 1932 in Cabarrus County and was the daughter of the late Ferris Sanders Simpson and Maude Barnhardt Simpson. She was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Eunice retired from Cannon Mills. She enjoyed crocheting, working crossword puzzles and doing word search. She was a wonderful lady who was dearly loved by all her family and friends and will be missed beyond measure.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Deborah Furr and husband, Sonny, Wanda Raduly and husband, Ernest, Glenda Walters, Patsy Auten and Verna Gordon; sister, Pearl Eury; 25 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren,
great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
