Happy memories of Hope and her bridge club friends, including my mother -- Betty Evans. They enjoyed going to the beach where they could play bridge, shop and eat seafood to their hearts' content. She was special not just as my mother's friend and colleague (both taught at Royal Oaks Elementary for decades), but because she took time to teach me to swim and ride the waves at the beach on a raft and also to teach me a little piano. We all loved Hope Lackey. Hugs to Kyra, Lyn and Allison.
