Obituary for Grace Parnell
Mrs. Grace Mae Kissiah Forest Parnell, age 89, of Kannapolis, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021.
A private graveside service will be held at Carolina Memorial Park.
Mrs. Parnell was born July 9, 1931 in Union County and was the daughter of the late Marcus Coleman Kissiah and Bessie Little Kissiah. She was also preceded in death by her 1st husband, Sam Forest and 2nd husband, Jack Parnell. She retired from the Cabarrus County Schools.
Survivors include her daughter, Judy Blackwell and husband, Ron; grandchildren, Ronnie Blackwell and wife, Angela and Amy Childers; great-grandchildren, Drew and Drake Blackwell and Hunter Childers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rowan County, 301 South Main Street, Suite 105 • Salisbury, NC 28144.
