Guy McCoy, 68, of Concord, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his family.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Wilkinson Funeral Home, officiated by Rev.’s Marvin Goodnight and Gary Posey, with burial to follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Friday night at Wilkinson Funeral Home.
Guy was born on July 7, 1952 in Welch, WV to the late Hazel and Gomer Denver. He is also preceded in death by brother, Scottie Denver; sister, Gay Denver; sister-in-laws, Mary Jolene Cooper, Betty Stancil.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Newsome McCoy; brother, Danny Denver; sister-in-laws, Margie Easley, Billie Cook; brother-in-law, Willard Newsome.
