Obituary for Jahala Joan Lockler (Morton)
Mrs. Jahala Joan Morton Lockler, age 82, of Concord, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Tucker Hospice House, with family by her side.
Jahala will lie in state on Saturday, June 27 from 10 am to 1 pm at Wilkinson Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2 pm at Silver Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Albemarle.
She was born in York county, SC to Fonzie and Bertha Efird Morton. She was an avid reader, enjoyed doing word search and loved the tv show, The Golden Girls.
Jahala was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, relative and friend to all who knew and loved her. She will be dearly missed.
