Obituary for Jane Ann Lisenby
Jane Ann Lisenby, 56, of Kannapolis, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at Tucker Hospice House.
A memorial service will be held at a later date due to the COVID-19 restrictions.
Jane was born on August 26, 1963 in Jacksonville, FL to the late William Boyd and Marlene Gorski Lisenby.
Jane had worked for many years as a Social Worker with Florence Crittenton Services. She enjoyed it so much than once she moved into Big Elm Rehab and Living Center, she took it upon herself to become the “Social Worker” of the nursing home. Jane adored pets, especially dogs and even made homemade dogfood for them. She loved being outside, from skiing to fishing, she loves being in the great outdoors. Sports were also a passion of hers, loving to watch basketball, football and cheer on the Duke Blue Devils.
She is survived by her brother, Dean Lisenby and wife Kim, of Holly Springs, NC; sister, Donna Sanders of Midland, NC; aunt, Judy Lisenby and husband Rick; nieces and nephews, Landon, Lauren, Luke, Michael, Justin, Dylan and Dale.
