Janice Lynn Baucom 76 passed away Saturday March 14, 2020 at her home. She had been in declining health for a few years. She told me two weeks ago “Jeanne, if the Good Lord is through using me I’m ready to go HOME!”

I spoke with her 20 minutes before she passed and the Good Lord took her out of her turmoil and suffering and pain!

Janice a native of Cabarrus County was the daughter of the late John Via Baucom and the late Ethel Amelia Adams Baucom. She had membership at Kerr Street Methodist Church. She loved her family, her friends and her school UNCG and most of all her Lord and Savior.


She is survived by her beloved sisters Jean Baucom Helms (late husband Robert), Amy Baucom Russell and Joe, two loving nieces Kristin Helms Dyck and Kevin, Angela Helms Lane and Allen, and two beautiful great nieces Cameron Dyck and Madison Dyck, numerous Cousins, aunts and uncles and wonderful neighbors.

In respect for the “Corona-Virus” Protection a private family graveside service will be held.

A very SPECIAL thank you to Janice’s dear friend Barbara Ford Mesimer, Judy Flowe, and the staff that helped Janice, Billy, Carolyn, Jesus and George and to her precious four puppies who now have loving homes. A heart felt SPECIAL THANKS to Ms. Nancy who for 3 ½ years took very special care of Janice and her beloved puppies.
