Obituary for Janie Lee Joyner
CONCORD- Janie Cook Joyner, 92, passed away at Mount Pleasant House just as Christmas Eve was turning into Christmas morning.
An 11am service will be held at Wilkinson Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 27, with Pastor Aaron Edwards officiating. She will be laid to rest at Carolina Memorial Park.
Janie was one of nine children born to George M. and Lola Little Cook. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She loved to paint artwork. She had a pleasant sense of humor and always exuded kindness. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 70 years, Clinton Joyner, her parents, and all of her siblings.
Mrs. Joyner is survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
