Obituary for Butch Stowe
Mr. Johnny “Butch” Allen Stowe passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Accordius of Concord.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Emily Lamonine. The burial will follow at Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Butch was born May 16, 1938 in Concord to the late James Brice Stowe and Eula Mae Barbee Stowe. He was also preceded in death by sister Lorene “Sis” Goble.
Butch worked 32 years with Duke Power as a master welder. He enjoyed his family, NASCAR racing, hunting, fishing, and was a proud member of North Carolina National Guard. Butch was rather meticulous with everything he did.
Butch is survived by wife JoAnn F. Stowe; son Allen Stowe; granddaughter Lindsey Walters and husband Wilson; great grandchildren Erin and Branson; brother Roy Stowe and wife Shelia; sister Ann Ray; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of Accordius of Concord for their love and care of Butch.
