I am so sorry to read this notice of the passing of Kathy Crum. Even though I didn't know her for very long, her kindness shown through. God worked through her while she worked at Glen Laurel Homes and I considered her a friend. We shared many laughs at the community pool; she will be missed! Fly high Kathy; I'll see you on the other side!

Growing up in our neighborhood was amazing! Kathy was always up for a game in the field behind your house. We all would come out after home work was done and our chores were completed, and play until it was dark. Kathy had a laugh that would make you laugh just to hear her laugh, it was such a happy laugh. It was never the same after you gals moved away, but memories are a wonderful gift from God, because we can go back to that time and place in a wink. Rest in the arm of God Kathy and you will always be remembered and missed. Your laugh and smile will last forever my friend!

Kathy and I have been friends for many, many years! We have worked together, shared hobbies together, and had many good times! We spent many hours painting door hangers which she shared her techniques with me and taught me and shared which people on line were the best. I spent all the time I was able to with her going through her illness until this Coronavirus hit. We used to sing in church together, go to races together, among other things. When we worked together at Woodlawn Holiday Inn, people thought we were sisters. We laughed and said yes mom liked the name Kathy, Cathy so much that she named us both Kathy,Cathy. It was a joke between us and we became Daryl and Daryl.
To the family you have my thoughts and prayers, as well as my love. Kathy fought hard and truly had a streak of bravery about her. She was very strong in her faith. Kathy I will forever miss you, but am glad that you will have no more pain or suffering. You told me many times you were not in pain, and I pray there was none at the end. You will now sing with the angels, and with your loved ones you have missed so much! Rest In Peace my dear friend! I love you and Thomas loves you!
