Obituary for Kenneth Wayne Mullis
Mr. Kenneth Wayne Mullis, age 71, of Mt. Pleasant, NC, passed away July 28, 2020 at his home.
The service will be held Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 4 PM at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3-4 PM at the funeral home. Rev. Gary Posey and the Rev. David Sanders will officiate.
Mr. Mullis was born June 21, 1949 in Cabarrus County to the late Rufus and Edith Mullis. He was a self-employed subcontractor and a member of Victory Temple.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was predeceased by his son, Lee Pettigrew.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Ann Mullis; 4 sons, Tony Mullis of Stanfield, Trent Pettigrew of Mt. Pleasant, Eric Pettigrew of Concord, and Chris Morrison of Mooresville; 3 daughters, Jodie Pettigrew of Concord, Monekka Mullis of Locust and Frances Mullis of Chester, SC; 14 grandchildren, Brandon, Steven, Davey, Kenya, Preston, Conley, Harley, Andakwa, Tokala, Jacob, Dakota, Dillon, and Noah; 5 great-grandchildren, Hailey, Hannah, Lilly, Willow, Michael and Shanna.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wilkinson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 344 Concord, NC 28026.
