Obituary for Linda Wensil Seagraves
Mrs. Linda Irene Wensil Seagraves, 68, of Rockwell, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021, at Atrium Cabarrus with family by her side.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m., at Wilkinson Funeral Home. The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Wilkinson Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Posey officiating. The graveside will follow thereafter where she will be laid to rest with the love of her life, Bobby Seagraves.
Mrs. Seagraves was born April 4, 1953, to the late Harold Eugene Wensil and Ethel Lee McQueen. In addition to her parents’ she is preceded in death by her beloved husband Bobby Seagraves, and brother Harold Eugene Wensil Jr.
She is survived by her four sons, Scotty and wife, Barbara, Brian and wife, Crystal, Brad and wife, Leslie, and Tim and wife, Melissa; sister Connie Ashburn and brother Jerry Wensil; and grandchildren, Logan, Ariel, Tyler, Carson, Jacob, Troy, and Wyatt.
Linda was a beloved wife of 50 years, an amazing mother, and a nurturing grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life. Linda loved planting flowers, going to the beach, collecting flamingos, and especially loved her animals.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her honor to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Mt. Pleasant Animal Rescue.
