Obituary for Margaret Poplin
Mrs. Margaret Bell Key Poplin, age 97 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Tucker Hospice House.
A graveside service will be held Monday, February 1 at 11 am at West Concord Cemetery, with Pastor Gary Bragg officiating.
Mrs. Poplin was born June 21, 1923 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late Ezra and Helen Key. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Marshal R. Poplin, and a grandson, Jason Poplin.
Survivors include her daughter, Marsha Poplin of Nashville, TN; sons, Wayne Poplin and wife, Melanie of Wagaman, LA, Richard Poplin and wife, Phyllis of Nashville, TN and Tim Poplin and wife, TA of Thailand; grandchildren, Janet Piper and husband, David, Krista Kelly, Torrie Poplin, Evan Poplin, Jeff Poplin and wife, Danielle, Regan Cantrelle and husband Shane, Raeburn Poplin, and partner Adelaide, granddaughter-in-law, Rachel Poplin (wife of Jason); great-grandchildren, Jessica and Matthew Piper, Brandon and Nick Moore, Justin Kelly, Najha Margaret and Pason Poplin, Kayla, Macy and Jeffrey Poplin, Bayleigh, Chase and Charleigh Cantrelle; great-great-grandchildren, Cali and Jayden.
