Obituary for Monty Terrell Alexander
Mr. Monty Terrell Alexander passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023 at Atrium Health Cabarrus surrounded by family and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday at Wilkinson Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Bobby Tallent. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
Monty was born July 20, 1965 in Charlotte to the late Robert Terrell Alexander, Jr. and Edna Strickland Alexander. After graduating from Central Cabarrus, he managed inside sales for Vertec Fasteners and then he became a caregiver for his Aunt Vickie. Monty loved his family, fishing, Dale Earnhardt, and the Dallas Cowboys.
Monty is survived by his daughter Brittany Alexander; grandchildren Nevaeh and Talaya; brother Chris Alexander and wife Wynn; nephews Shane Alexander and wife Mandy, and Josh Alexander and wife Haley; two Aunts, three Uncles and a good friend Jerri Alexander, Brittany’s mother.
