Obituary for R.S. Noles
Mr. R.S. Noles, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, February 20, 2023.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 22 at 1 pm at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chuck Hensley officiating. He will be laid to rest at West Concord Cemetery. The family will speak to friends at the cemetery following the graveside service.
Mr. Noles was born July 12 ,1936 in Rowan County, a son of the late Willie M. Noles and Margaret Sercy Noles. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Beatrice Simpson Noles; his son, Darrell Noles; and siblings, Nancy Hooks, Linda Yates, and Larry Noles.
R.S. was former owner/operator of Noles Construction. He enjoyed rabbit and squirrel hunting and raising hunting dogs. He also loved to sing with his daughters. R.S. was a godly man who loved the Lord all his life, and his family. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his daughters, Debbie Carpenter and husband, Robin of Concord, and Wanda Long and husband, Don of Rockwell; grandchildren, Brandy, Jamie, Ruby Ann, Shane, Jennifer, and Joseph; great-grandchildren, Breanna, Tyler, Carleigh, Makenzi, Drakelynn, Nolen, Raelynn, Titus, and Hayden; many nieces, nephews and extended family.
