Scott,
Our time together as friends was way too short. Serving together on the PBC Security Team was my introduction to the force of nature that was you, brother. No matter what, you were always present, always active, always laughing...always faithful. I have been inspired by your positive spirit and motivation to serve your church family and our small band of brothers even in the hardest of times during your personal struggle. Just knowing that you were going to show up, put forth your maximum effort and quietly but effectively hold the rest of us to your standard of commitment and service oftentimes was more than enough to motivate me to do my best to overcome my own physical issues and show up as promised. Our talks about our similar challenges - physically, emotionally & spiritually - did far more to bless me I’m sure than I ever could have done for you. I had so looked forward to many more of those talks, and we will brother - at the appropriate time, in Heaven, in the presence of our Lord and Savior. For now, I trust that you’ll continue to watch over us and keep us laughing and grounded when we share our thoughts and memories of you. You have fought the good fight and led by your example...we have the watch from here. Rest easy and know we won’t let you down, brother.

Much like a tree, Scott's love for his family, church, community, and the Lord were everlasting and continued to grow. Scott will be dearly missed.
