Obituary for Peewee Thomas
Theotis Thomas (AKA Peewee), age 67, of Kannapolis, NC passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Tucker Hospice House.
He was born in Elizabeth, NJ to Beulah Scott and James Thomas on December 28,1955. His eclectic taste in music and love for the guitar stem from his father which he in turn taught his firstborn grandson.
Theotis was a hard worker and prided himself in teaching his daughters how to have a good work ethic. He was a stubborn man with a big heart and had a true love for people and animals. No matter where he went, he would always find someone he knew. He had an interesting sense of humor and would light up the room with his personality. He had a routine after work which consisted of watching Judge Judy, the 5 o’clock news, Jeopardy, and Family Feud.
Theotis is survived by his former wife and the mother of his children, Bernice Thomas; three daughters, Akiea Webb (Jamar,) Quiana Thomas (Antony), and Janay Thomas; 7 grandchildren, Andre, Brianna, Jamar, Jaydin, Amari, Corey and Christopher; his mother, Beulah Scott; 6 siblings and their spouses, James Thomas (Elinda), Crystal Woodley (Danny), Jerome Thomas (Joann), Lori Thomas, Jeannette Inzar (Bobby) and Linda Thomas, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
He is loved by all and will be truly missed.
A service to celebrate the life of Theotis will be held at a later date.
