Obituary for Vicky Wilkinson Long
Mrs. Vicky Joanne Wilkinson Long, 68, of Concord, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Tucker Hospice House.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Revolution Church, 310 Brookdale Street, Kannapolis, NC 28083, officiated by Rev. Chris Daniel. The family will receive friends from 1-2 prior to the service. The family requests that attendees wear face coverings.
Vicky was born on November 3, 1952 in Concord to the late Harold and Betty Furr Wilkinson.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and was always making everyone laugh. She liked to take charge and enjoyed trips to the beach and mountains.
She is survived by her husband, Leon Arthur Long; daughter, Amy Long Daniel and husband, Chris; son, Mark Lee Long; brothers, Harold and Jim Wilkinson; grandchildren, Megan Windham and husband, Will; great-granddaughter, Isabella Windham and soon to be great-grandson Kendric Windham.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tucker Hospice House, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
